The smash burger here is amazing!!!! I eat it once a week and can't stop lol! The beer is also fantastic as is the vibe and crowd here. I'd definitely recommend checking this place out

Super crowded when we came Friday afternoon but we found two seats and grabbed a mini table with our dogs. This place was packed and had so much going on. They were grilling smash burgers outside and different seating indoors and outdoors. We got a couple of beers and had some smash burgers, fries and nachos. The burgers were sooo good! Lots of families, couples and dogs

Updating my review to five stars since the beer has gotten so, so good! Headlands consistently adds new fresh beers, and the quality of these offers are often my favorite beers anywhere. I'm a regular, and am now buying four-packs to go to enjoy at home with my family and friends. Thanks Headlands!

I still say Northern California can compete with anywhere in the US for great breweries. We finally got the chance to come here - we're not in Lafayette that much but we did like the place a lot. Beer was good and being able to bring your dogs is wonderful. Would give five stars if it wasn't for the stampede of kids running freely all over. Screaming and doing as they please without any supervision - that's what would keep us away. But outside that we liked the place a lot. I hope they do something about the playground atmosphere of the place and realize it's for adults - this is a nice place.

Very nice space, solid beer, pretty good food. The space is big with lots of outdoor and some indoor seating, very welcoming, kid and dog friendly. The beer is mostly great! The hefeweizen is one of the best in the Bay Area and the Oktoberfest beer was quite good. I was a bit disappointed in the Christmas spiced beer (it just didn't have much flavor), but I've liked other beers of theirs I've had at other places. The food menu isn't huge but what we got was quite good. The smashburger was a bit small but very tasty. The all beef frank with sauerkraut and mustard was simple but good. And the soft pretzel with beer cheese was excellent!

My sister lives nearby and recommended that we stop at this place on a sunny Sunday afternoon. It was soooooo hot outside but we braved the heat and decided to go. The business has an air conditioned indoor area, covered outdoor areas, and the turf area with umbrellas. It was so accommodating. We sat with 4 adults and 2 kids outside at one of the fire pits on the turf (fire pit not lit bc HELLA HOT). You can order from QR codes outside, at a window on the outside or inside the taproom. The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious. They have different types of burgers, hot dogs, nachos and other goodies. The beet on tap is delicious, especially the IPAs! They even have frose We stayed for about 4 hours. Can't wait to go back here again. Wow, would definitely come back here and try their brews and more food! I went to Headlands for a small event and we all sat outdoors. There wasn't many shade opportunities tho. They have indoor seating as well. There was a spot outside to order your food and drinks and the process was easy. Water outside too, which was soooo appreciated since it was a hot day. They do burgers, various sausages (including vegan ones), and a bit more. I got their cheeseburger and it was a smashburger and was excellent. Came with a side of chips as well. The husband tried their sausage plate with the hot link and a polish (?) sausage and he enjoyed it. He isn't really social, but I was glad to hear him say he'd try more stuff here, which is a great sign! The kids got their plain burgers and they ate it all up. Good stuff. Re drinks, my husband got the frozen pink lemonade. It was gorgeous. I tried their CBD sparkling water, blackberry flavor. It looked pretty neat- all cloudy milky white, and it tasted pretty good. I may need to look up CBD water from now on! Excellent atmosphere. Some games outside too. Dog friendly outdoors. Service was great as well. Can't wait to try some more stuff!
